Job Description
The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum care.
Deliver full-spectrum family medicine, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures. Perform obstetric services such as prenatal visits, labor management, deliveries, and postpartum follow-up. Cares for newborns and offers pediatric services as part of family-centered care. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement, care team activities, and community outreach. Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention, maintaining accurate documentation in the EHR. Participate in hospital call schedules for labor and deliveries, including after-hours and weekends.Qualifications include MD or DO degree, completion of family medicine residency with obstetric training, unrestricted medical license, board certification or eligibility, and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and preferably ALSO.
