Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner PRN (weekends and some weekdays)

Job Description

This full-time position as a Medical Provider involves evaluating and treating urgent care patients, injured workers, and conducting work and sports physicals.

• Assess and manage patients with minor illnesses, injuries, and acute exacerbations of chronic conditions, performing procedures like laceration repairs, splints, and abscess drainage.
• Stabilize patients with serious conditions, facilitate transfers, and respond to emergency situations including hospital codes and disaster incidents.
• Perform wellness, work-related, and sports physicals; interpret lab and diagnostic tests; document encounters accurately; and bill appropriately.
• Collaborate with staff and external providers to ensure quality patient care in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Serve as shift team leader if qualified, supervising or supporting other clinical staff.

Qualifications include licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with relevant experience, current certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS), and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
