Job Description

The Charge Nurse supervises nursing care, ensures quality delivery, and manages staff shifts according to physicians’ orders and resident care plans.

  • Administers medications, treatments, and completes documentation accurately and timely.
  • Supervises, evaluates, and may suspend personnel per policy.
  • Monitors resident conditions, reports abnormalities, and observes safety protocols.
  • Oversees shift operations and staffing.
  • Participates in in-service education and follows infection control practices.

    • Requirements include a valid RN or LPN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and CPR certification preferred.
