Job Description
The Nurse Manager, L&D oversees daily operations in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, staff performance, and staff development.
Promotes collaborative practice with other departments, physicians, and nursing schools, demonstrating teamwork and problem-solving skills. Requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in L&D, current RN license, and certifications such as NRP, ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring. Must have a thorough understanding of OR processes and L&D protocols, strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to manage staffing and coverage effectively. Position involves significant independent judgment, decision-making, and adapting best practices to meet complex challenges. The role is full-time, pays $70,000-$130,000 annually, and requires in-person work.
