Job Description
This Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) role involves providing comprehensive, family-centered care for infants and toddlers up to age 2, including primary, acute, chronic, and critical care.
In collaboration with healthcare teams, the NNP conducts assessments, diagnoses, treats, and manages patients, orders and interprets tests, prescribes medications, and offers health education and counseling.
The position emphasizes advocacy, culturally sensitive care, and family involvement in care planning.
Leadership, teamwork, quality improvement, safety, and the use of health informatics are integral components.
Applicants must have a BSN, a Master’s Degree in Nursing, three years of neonatal experience, and relevant certifications and licenses, including board certification as an NNP.
