Job Description

This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role involves providing direct patient care to enhance speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions within a skilled nursing facility.


  • Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, delivering therapy, documenting progress, and communicating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Supervises clinical staff, ensures compliance with regulatory documentation, and manages billing-related records.
  • Contributes to team conferences, integrates interdisciplinary input, and educates staff and families.
  • Maintains professional development through continuing education, peer collaboration, and professional presentations.
  • Promotes a positive facility culture, demonstrates safe working practices, and maintains equipment and work areas.
  • Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, 2-3 years of rehab experience, and appropriate licensure and CPR certification.
  • Requires physical ability for patient care activities and the ability to work approximately 60-80% on direct treatment.
  • Compensation ranges from $55.00 to $65.00 per hour, with health benefits provided.
