Job Description
The Licensed Social Worker provides direct client contact to certify treatment and deliver psychotherapy services, focusing on Substance Use Disorder and Co-Occurring Disorders.
They conduct screenings, intake interviews, individual and group counseling, family counseling related to addiction, and client orientations.
Responsibilities include performing assessments, developing treatment plans, providing psycho-education, crisis intervention, client education, referrals, and case management, while maintaining accurate documentation.
Under supervision, they do not provide clinical supervision.
Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Social Work, NYS licensure (LMSW preferred), at least two years of substance abuse treatment experience, completion of specialized trainings within three months, and computer literacy.
The role is full-time with a salary range of $60,000-$65,000 annually, offering benefits such as 401(k), health, dental, vision insurance, and paid time off.
Work is conducted in person.
