Job Description

The PRN Speech Therapist role involves providing in-home assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in older adults across multiple locations including Belleville, Swansea, and surrounding areas.


  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of communication and cognitive impairments, including memory issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive functions.
  • Educate patients and families on exercises, strategies, and techniques to enhance communication, attention, focus, and memory.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals for holistic patient care and monitor progress, adjusting plans as needed.
  • Stay current with advancements in speech therapy through ongoing education.

    • Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, valid licensure, and strong communication skills. The position offers flexible scheduling, mileage compensation, and hourly pay between $37.00 and $53.00. Work involves traveling within Saint Clair County, IL, with a focus on personalized patient care in a home setting.
