Job Description

Seeking an experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LCMHC, etc.) to provide mental health services at a correctional facility in Kitsap County, WA.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating residents with mental health, substance use, and behavioral issues
• Collaborating with correctional and medical staff to ensure quality care and safety
• Conducting evaluations, documenting progress, and developing treatment plans
• Participating in educational activities and group therapy
• Ensuring compliance with policies and standards

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree and active licensure in WA (e.g., LCSW, LCMHC)
• At least 3 years of clinical experience, correctional experience preferred
• Knowledge of DSM-V criteria, mental health and substance use disorders
• Strong communication, organizational, and confidentiality skills
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and pass background checks
