Physician – Obstetrics – Part-Time

Job Description

The staff Obstetrics physician provides outpatient care, diagnosing and treating common acute and chronic conditions per ACOG guidelines, ordering tests, and performing procedures within their scope.

Responsibilities include managing 20 patients daily, handling walk-ins, and taking after-hours calls by phone. They support organizational goals, ensure timely workload completion, and deliver professional, courteous service.

Qualifications include MD/DO, board certification or eligibility, and licensure in California. Preferred experience includes ambulatory practice and medical Spanish. Skills required encompass strong communication, clinical competence, supervisory ability, and proficiency with EMR systems.

They must work flexible hours, participate in meetings, committees, and quality reviews, and be adaptable to work at multiple locations to meet patient care needs. Maintaining confidentiality, compliance, and fostering a positive, culturally sensitive environment are essential.
