Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.
This field-based role involves delivering specialized wound care in patients’ homes, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, providing treatments, supervising staff, and coordinating with healthcare teams to promote wound healing.
Qualifications require an MD/DO license, a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, wound care certification within 6 months, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Physical and mental demands include physical exertion, adaptability, strong judgment, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel approximately 25%.
