Seeking a hand surgeon to serve as a 1099 independent contractor at a leading healthcare provider. This flexible role involves treating patients on-site for approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, complementing your existing practice. The position focuses on managing complex medical cases, facilitating return-to-work and functional recovery, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams. Responsibilities include providing surgical and non-surgical care for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries, communicating with employers, and participating in case management. Qualifications include board certification or eligibility in hand surgery, licensure in the state, an unrestricted DEA license, and malpractice insurance. Prior experience with work-related injuries is preferred. Compensation is based on a revenue-sharing model.
