Family Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

We are hiring a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner for our outpatient primary care practice in Sanger, TX, and the greater DFW area.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and treatment under physician supervision
• Perform physical exams and preventative health measures
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
• Record findings and develop treatment plans
• Discuss cases with physicians for comprehensive care planning
• Prescribe medications or treatments as appropriate
• Complete other assigned duties

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years in primary care and outpatient settings
• Experience with patient care management and EHR systems
• Strong community health focus and knowledge of medications
• Excellent communication skills, compassionate, approachable
• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Texas (FNP-C), current DEA/DPS registration
• Ability to commute or relocate to Sanger, TX
