Job Description

The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner reports to the Director of Nursing and supervises nurses and medical assistants.

  • Provides specialized wound care services in home, nursing home, and assisted living settings.
  • Conducts assessments, develops care plans, and educates patients and caregivers.
  • Collaborates with healthcare teams to optimize healing outcomes.
  • Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, active NP licensure, wound care certification within 6 months, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be physically capable of fieldwork, including lifting and mobility tasks, and possess reliable transportation.
  • Works independently, makes quick judgments, and maintains documentation while adhering to safety and confidentiality policies.
  • Position involves travel to various care settings, exposure to biohazards, and requires strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Offers a full-time salary ranging from $125,000 to $175,000 with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
