Job Description

The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises Nurses & Medical Assistants.

  • Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, including assessments, care planning, and patient education.
  • Works independently in the field, managing complex wounds and collaborating with healthcare teams.
  • Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, valid licensure, at least 2 years of clinical experience, and wound care certification within 6 months.
  • Must be physically able to perform site visits, lift patients, and travel within the region, with reliable transportation.
  • Key duties include wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols.
