Psychiatrist

Job Description

Seeking a licensed, board-certified (or eligible) psychiatrist for a full-time role in a mental health clinic serving adults with severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and schizoaffective disorder.

**Responsibilities include:**

Providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments and medication management, including complex psychopharmacology.

Promoting recovery-oriented, person-centered care with a focus on empowerment and social connectedness.

Developing and leading wellness programs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and integrating psychosocial interventions.

Supervising staff, supporting community engagement, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications:**

Massachusetts medical license, DEA, and controlled substances certificates.

Experience with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and trauma-informed care.

Leadership skills and commitment to culturally responsive, recovery-focused approaches.

**Details:**
Schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, with flexible hours, and salary ranges from $229,000 to $235,000 annually. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. The position involves both clinical practice and leadership, with potential for academic appointment and supervision. Location is in person with garage parking available.
