Job Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist provides diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders as part of an interdisciplinary Rehabilitation team.
Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Clinical Competence certification, and state licensure.
Responsibilities encompass evaluating residents, developing treatment plans, administering therapy, documenting progress, consulting with healthcare professionals, and educating residents and families.
They coordinate with medical staff, attend family conferences, participate in in-service training, and ensure safety and professionalism.
Additional duties involve billing support, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and responding to emergencies.
Position pays $50/hour with benefits including continuing education credits.
