Seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing facility.
Evaluate, treat, and develop personalized therapy plans to improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing skills, collaborating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Document services accurately, manage billing, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Supervise and mentor clinical staff, contribute to team meetings, and incorporate interdisciplinary insights into patient care. Maintain current knowledge through continuing education, participate in professional development, and promote a positive, safe work environment. Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, 2-3 years of rehab experience, CCC-SLP certification, and California licensure. Must have strong communication skills, medical terminology knowledge, and physical ability for patient care activities. Pay ranges from $58-$62/hour with health benefits.
