Job Description

Seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing facility.

  • Evaluate, treat, and develop personalized therapy plans to improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing skills, collaborating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Document services accurately, manage billing, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor clinical staff, contribute to team meetings, and incorporate interdisciplinary insights into patient care.
  • Maintain current knowledge through continuing education, participate in professional development, and promote a positive, safe work environment.
  • Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, 2-3 years of rehab experience, CCC-SLP certification, and California licensure. Must have strong communication skills, medical terminology knowledge, and physical ability for patient care activities. Pay ranges from $58-$62/hour with health benefits.
