Job Description
Assess and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, including selecting communication systems and conducting research.
Monitor progress, evaluate test results, and develop individualized treatment plans for issues like stuttering, delayed language, and swallowing disorders.
Administer assessments, record progress, and instruct clients and families on effective communication techniques, such as sign language and voice training.
Collaborate with educators and medical staff, design therapy programs, and utilize technology and alternative devices.
Participate in conferences, research, and IEP meetings, and refer clients to additional services when needed.
Qualifications include licensure as an SLP, background check clearance, and normal hearing and vision.
Work schedule is school-year Monday–Friday, with summer and holiday breaks.
Full-time position offering $60,000–$70,000 annually, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and flexible scheduling.
