Job Description

Our special education day program is seeking a licensed professional counselor (LPC) or counseling social worker (LCSW) to work with students in grades K-12. The role involves facilitating student development, supporting social, emotional, and behavioral health, and delivering coordinated counseling services.

Promote wellness, resilience, and social skills such as problem solving, self-regulation, and optimism.

Ensure student safety by advocating against violence, bullying, and harassment.

Assess student needs and environmental factors, using data to develop interventions.

Implement prevention programs to foster a positive school climate.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff, embracing diversity.

This full-time, part-time, or contract position offers benefits like 401(k), health insurance, paid time off, and retirement. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with no weekends. Applicants must hold an LPC or LCSW license. The work is in person.
