Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises Nurses & Medical Assistants.
Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living settings. Performs assessments, develops care plans, educates patients/caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams. Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, current MD/DO licensure, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Must complete Wound Care Certification within 6 months. Field-based role involving travel, physical effort, and adherence to safety protocols. Key responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, supervision, documentation, and coordination with care teams. Strong assessment, communication, and adaptive skills required.
