Job Description

The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO/NP) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.

  • Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing home, and assisted living settings for chronic, pressure, and surgical wounds.
  • Performs assessments, develops care plans, educates patients and caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams.
  • Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, current licensure, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and wound care certification within 6 months.
  • Field-based role involving physical effort, travel (25%), and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and coordination of care.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and adaptability skills are essential.
