Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO/NP) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.
Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing home, and assisted living settings for chronic, pressure, and surgical wounds. Performs assessments, develops care plans, educates patients and caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams. Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, current licensure, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and wound care certification within 6 months. Field-based role involving physical effort, travel (25%), and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and coordination of care. Strong assessment, communication, and adaptability skills are essential.
