Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

Responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering speech/language therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians to restore function and prevent disability. Performs patient assessments, develops and implements treatment plans, and documents all activities accurately. Provides education to patients and families, addressing psychosocial and cultural needs, and collaborates with healthcare team members. Ensures patient care coordination, maintains departmental records, and participates in quality improvement and safety programs. Requires a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, licensure, and preferably experience with geriatric populations. Must have strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with physical and mental ability to perform evaluations and treatments effectively. Full-time position with benefits, requiring in-person work in Ironton, OH, with potential relocation. Schedule includes weekdays, with weekend hours as needed.
