Job Description
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide services for children and adults.
Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and challenges. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans using clinical social work interventions, including crisis, individual, marital, or family therapies. Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed. Participate in team conferences, collaborate with therapy teams, and develop evaluation and therapy plans. Maintain detailed case records and document assessments, interactions, and interventions. Educate patients and families on adaptation to diagnoses, treatments, and life situations. Liaise with community resources and provide consultative support to healthcare team members. Ensure confidentiality, maintain compliance with documentation standards, and keep records as required. Some travel may be required. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field; LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW licensure in Iowa.
