Job Description
We are seeking a *Licensed Mental Health Clinician* to join our team at *York County Jail* in *Alfred, ME*.
Provide psychosocial assessments, counseling, crisis intervention, and case management within a correctional setting. Gather patient information through interviews, history, tests, and observations. Evaluate data to identify issues and determine appropriate therapeutic approaches or referrals. Offer crisis management, short-term therapy, and emergency services as needed. Develop treatment and follow-up plans, demonstrating knowledge of DSM-5 criteria. Collaborate with other behavioral health professionals and staff. Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field, current state license, CPR certification, and successful background clearance.
