Job Description

The Clinical Supervisor, NP/PA-C, oversees daily operations at an occupational health clinic, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance within a shipyard environment.

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage work-related injuries and illnesses for employees.
  • Perform medical surveillance, physical exams, and case reviews for exposure programs like asbestos, metals, toxins, and noise.
  • Supervise RNs and Clinical Technicians, providing clinical guidance, task delegation, staffing, and workflow management.
  • Offer training, coaching, and education to clinical staff on procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external providers on injury management, return-to-work, and fitness assessments.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency.

  • Qualifications include a Master’s degree in nursing, valid APN/PA-C licensure in Maine, minimum 5 years of clinical experience, and managerial skills. Occupational health experience is preferred. The role is full-time, Monday-Friday, with a salary range of $115,000-$130,000, and offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. In-person work includes participation in Sea Trials and navigating the shipyard environment.
