Job Description

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive patient care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, TX, working 2 days per week.

Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and managing gastrointestinal and liver conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing treatments, and patient education.

Collaborates with healthcare team to ensure coordinated, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Maintains accurate documentation and adheres to clinical and legal standards.

Participates in staff meetings, training, and quality initiatives.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree or higher in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least 1 year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology.

Work schedule is on-site, with potential for additional shifts, requiring physical ability to perform clinical duties. The role requires relocation to Snyder, TX prior to starting.
