Job Description
UConnectCare is a reputable nonprofit providing addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery services for over 50 years.
Responsibilities:
Conduct patient interviews and examinations to diagnose medical conditions.Prescribe medications, order tests, and consult with physicians as needed.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for insurance.Supervise staff, review treatment plans, and participate in client counseling and case conferences.Monitor and prescribe drug therapies in compliance with regulations, including telehealth services.Qualifications:
Master’s degree from an accredited program, licensed in NYS.At least two years of postgraduate clinical experience.Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with electronic medical records and a valid NYS driver’s license.Must be free of active addiction, pass background checks, and adhere to continuing education requirements.Work is both in-person and full- or part-time, with pay starting at $65/hour.
