Job Description

Seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner for a small, rural community health center in Seward, Alaska. Candidates with experience in rural family medicine, pediatrics, and women’s health are encouraged to apply.

Offering a salary of $130,000-$155,000/year, with a $10,000 hiring bonus, a steady 4×10 day shift schedule, annual CME allowance, 80 hours PTO, and no on-call hours.

Responsibilities include providing primary care across ages, managing acute and chronic conditions, performing exams, procedures, and diagnostics, collaborating with specialists, and participating in outreach and quality initiatives.

Qualifications: minimum 5 years primary care, 3 years rural experience, Alaska licensure, NP certification, DEA license, BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred. Knowledge of culturally sensitive care and excellent communication skills are essential.
