Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO/NP) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.
Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, assessing and managing complex skin conditions. Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops treatment plans, and educates patients and caregivers. Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure optimal healing outcomes. Requires a Master’s or Doctoral Nursing degree, valid licensure, wound care certification within 6 months, and minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Position involves physical activity, field-based work, travel, and adherence to safety protocols, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation essential. Key responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and coordination of care.
