Job Description
The Licensed Addictions Counselor provides individual and group chemical dependency services in a therapeutic community setting.
Conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, and offers counseling on addiction, self-esteem, and related topics. Makes referrals for aftercare and documents all sessions and progress. Participates in family treatment meetings and staff meetings, providing reports as needed. Utilizes evidence-based practices like Motivational Interviewing and CBT, and applies appropriate clinical procedures. Maintains timely documentation, completes required training annually, and collaborates with the treatment team. Works well under pressure, motivates residents, and is receptive to supervision and new ideas. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science, Montana licensure, and experience working with adult offenders; preferred experience in residential treatment. This full-time position offers benefits, a flexible schedule, and requires relocation to Butte, MT. The role involves working in person, with some travel and documentation responsibilities. Pay ranges from $28.00 to $32.00 per hour.
