Job Description

We are hiring a motivated *Physician Assistant (PA-C)/Nurse Practitioner* to join our orthopedic team specializing in total joint replacement (hip and knee).

  • Conduct preoperative assessments and optimize patient health
  • Assist in the operating room during joint replacement surgeries
  • Perform inpatient rounding, discharge planning, and postoperative follow-up
  • Manage outpatient clinics for new, postoperative, and routine patients
  • Educate patients on procedures, recovery, and rehabilitation
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications
  • Participate in quality improvement and research initiatives
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in EMR

    • Qualifications include current licensure, NCCPA or board certification, DEA registration, and preferred orthopedic experience. BLS/ACLS certification and strong communication skills are required.

    This full-time role offers a salary range of $105,000–$180,000, with benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and flexible scheduling. Candidates must be able to commute to or relocate to Bakersfield, CA.
