The Nurse Manager oversees all unit functions, ensuring quality patient care, operational efficiency, and staff development under the Nurse Director’s guidance.

Responsibilities include managing staffing, admissions, surge planning, and resource allocation, collaborating with leaders to adapt to service changes and census fluctuations.

They lead nursing staff, support onboarding and ongoing education, and model professionalism and specialty certification efforts.

Key duties involve problem solving, ensuring clinical excellence, managing budgets, fostering employee and physician engagement, and promoting service excellence aligned with organizational values.

Qualifications include a minimum of 3 years clinical experience, RN license, an associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred), and leadership experience. The role requires flexible hours at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston, WV.
