Intake Nurse Practitioner / Physicians Assistant

Job Description

Seeking a Part-Time Intake Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP, FNP, or PA) for substance abuse and mental health assessments. This role involves performing all new client intake evaluations on the day of admission, primarily onsite with some telehealth options. Daily availability Monday through Friday between 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM is essential.

Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, collaborating on treatment plans, prescribing medications, and documenting encounters accurately. The position supports clients with co-occurring disorders, medication management, and family education. Preference for candidates with experience in inpatient/outpatient settings and knowledge of DSM-5 and psychotropic medications.

The role offers flexible scheduling, a hybrid remote work environment in Rome, GA, and a monthly pay range of $3,000-$3,500. Applicants with a criminal record are encouraged to apply.
