Job Description
Responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering Speech/Language Pathology treatments as prescribed by physicians to restore function and prevent disability.
Performs patient assessments, develops treatment plans, documents progress, and educates patients and families, ensuring respectful and culturally sensitive care.
Collaborates with healthcare team members, communicates effectively, and participates in performance improvement and departmental activities.
Maintains departmental records, adheres to safety and infection control standards, and assists with administrative duties under supervision.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, licensure in Kentucky, and preferably experience with geriatric populations. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and basic computer skills are required.
Position involves physical activities like standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and requires good visual and hearing abilities. Full-time, with benefits, scheduled Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends. Must be able to work in-person in Ironton, OH, and willing to relocate before starting.
