Job Description

Provide evidence-based family and individual therapy to youth in residential care, focusing on holistic treatment plans and trauma-informed care.

  • Adhere to agency, state policies, and promote cultural sensitivity while supporting the mission and values.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, complete paperwork, and facilitate quarterly case reviews with clients and families.
  • Engage families in treatment, promote community collaboration, and coordinate aftercare for seamless transition.
  • Participate in ongoing training, maintain licensure, and represent the organization professionally in court and community settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support experiential interventions, and assist with crisis intervention and on-call duties.
  • Supervise interns as assigned, contribute to research projects, and attend various meetings and trainings.
  • Qualifications include a master’s license in social work, psychology, or related field, experience with trauma, and valid Michigan licensure. Strong communication, reasoning, and physical ability are required. The role involves in-person work, some evening/weekend hours, and physical demands, with a focus on supporting youth and families in a therapeutic environment.
