Seeking a Residential Counselor (Behavioral Care Specialist) for 1st shift (7A-3:30P) at a facility in Camden, NJ, working with adolescents. Earn $24.50/hr with full benefits including 401(k), insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, valid driver’s license, one year of direct youth care experience, physical ability to restrain in emergencies.
Key duties: Build supportive relationships, supervise youth, implement daily routines, facilitate programming, document behavior, administer medication, and ensure safety and cleanliness.
Qualifications: Knowledge of trauma-informed care, excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and adherence to policies. Must pass background checks and maintain certifications (First Aid, CPR, Handle with Care).
