Pediatrician

Job Description

The Pediatrician provides primary healthcare services to patients, conducting thorough medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostics to establish diagnoses and treatment plans.

• Performs procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and prescribes medications.

• Educates patients and families on health, prevention, and treatment plans.

• Collaborates with the healthcare team, including nurses and care coordinators, to ensure continuity of care and patient engagement.

• Participates in quality improvement activities, emergency preparedness, and professional development.

• Maintains compliance with policies, standards, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications include an M.D. or D.O., completion of accredited residency, NY State medical license, and relevant skills in patient care and communication.
