Seeking a Part-Time Intake Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP or FNP) or Physician Assistant for a substance abuse and mental health recovery center.
Primary role involves conducting all new intake evaluations on the day of client admission, ensuring timely and thorough assessments. Position requires onsite presence with some telehealth options; daily availability Monday through Friday between 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM is essential. Responsibilities include completing psychiatric evaluations, collaborating with medical directors, documenting in electronic health records, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans. Must have strong evaluation skills, knowledge of DSM-5, and experience with addiction and psychotropic medications. Additional duties include medication management, client and family education, coordination of services, and participation in staff meetings. Preferred candidates have experience in inpatient/outpatient settings; criminal record applicants are encouraged. Compensation: $3,000 – $3,500/month with flexible schedule.
