The Occupational Mentor Certification Program (OMCP) is a correctional education initiative supporting incarcerated individuals in California, offering substance use disorder training and certification to become Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselors.
The Internship Supervisor (IS) assists the Program Director, supervises participants during their internship, and manages tracking of program hours and credentials. This full-time role involves on-site oversight, clinical supervision, record review, and collaboration with staff and contractors.
Qualifications include being a certified AOD Counselor with at least five years of experience, knowledge of certification processes, and the ability to pass background checks. Key skills include strong communication, organization, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
