Job Description

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing speech therapy services to ensure high-quality resident care.

  • Conduct evaluations and treatment for residents with speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders, based on physician orders.
  • Perform resident screenings upon admission and when indicated by changes or referrals.
  • Participate in facility meetings, staff training, and care planning to develop resident-centered programs.
  • Assist in meeting regulatory standards and follow infection control and residents’ rights guidelines.
  • Manage caseload scheduling, staff education, and documentation.
  • Maintain professional conduct and communication at all times.

  • Qualifications: Master’s degree, state licensure, Asha certification, SNF experience preferred, and strong communication skills.

    Pay & Benefits: $50-$60/hr, flexible hours (1-16/week), employee assistance, retirement plan, and in-person work.
