Job Description

This part-time Nurse Practitioner position involves working 12-14 hours weekly, primarily in early evening hours. The NP collaborates with the Medical Director to provide primary and acute healthcare to children, overseeing nursing staff and coordinating with other departments for effective service delivery.

  • Provide medical care, including physical exams and specialist consultations, under supervision.
  • Review treatments, develop policies, and stay current on pediatric health practices.
  • Participate in team meetings, offer staff training, and ensure quality care.
  • Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and effective communication.
  • Qualifications include NYS Nurse Practitioner license, prescriptive privileges, CPR/PALS certification, and experience with EHR systems.
