Job Description
Responsible for evaluating, planning, and providing Speech/Language Pathology treatments based on physician referrals to restore function and prevent disability.
Performs patient assessments, develops treatment plans, and documents all activities in medical records.
Collaborates with patients and families, addressing psychosocial and cultural needs, and involves them in care planning.
Conducts examinations such as swallowing assessments and communicates results promptly.
Coordinates patient care, ensures policy adherence, and participates in performance improvement and educational activities.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, licensure in Kentucky, and preferably experience with geriatric populations.
Requires strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and basic computer literacy.
Physical activities involve frequent hand movements, speaking, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
Position is full-time, in-person, with scheduled hours Monday to Friday and weekend as needed, located in Ironton, OH. Benefits include health insurance, retirement, paid time off, and more.
