PRN Recreational/Expressive Therapist (CERT. REQUIRED)

Job Description

Seeking qualified therapists (Recreational, Art, or Music) for a 125-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital in Bowling Green, KY.

Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Recreational Therapist), or a Master’s degree (Art Therapist), and relevant certification eligibility or ongoing registration.

Requirements include at least 2 years of related experience, knowledge of psychiatric care techniques, and CPR certification.

Responsibilities involve supporting treatment plans, documenting therapy services, assessing patient needs, providing group therapy, and planning discharge and aftercare.

Ideal candidates demonstrate understanding of age-specific development, chemical dependency, and therapeutic modalities, with sound judgment and ethical standards.

Position is part-time, pays from $26/hour, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.

In-person work expected for at least 8 hours weekly.
