Job Description

The Music Therapist provides individualized music therapy services to address patients’ physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs, following a written care plan.

  • Assess, evaluate, and develop treatment plans; report patient progress to physicians.
  • Initiate therapy programs, train staff and caregivers, and participate in case conferences.
  • Prepare progress summaries and offer consultation and in-service education.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary team activities and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in orientation for hospice team members.

    • Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in music therapy, certification, minimum two years’ experience (preferably hospice), current CPR, and a valid driver’s license.

    Position Details: Full-time, in-person role with health benefits and paid time off.
