Job Description

This part-time Nurse Practitioner role in gastroenterology involves providing comprehensive patient care under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and managing gastrointestinal and liver conditions; ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests; developing treatment plans; prescribing medications; and patient education.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing, an active Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of experience, preferably in gastroenterology or internal medicine.

The position requires two 8-hour on-site workdays weekly, with potential for additional shifts, and involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Physical demands include standing, walking, and assisting patients in a clinical environment.
