Job Description
Seeking a part-time Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) with psychiatric certification (PMHNP-BC) for a behavioral health center established in 1995.
Provide mental health assessments, histories, and evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Order tests (labs, EKGs), interpret data, and develop treatment plans.
Initiate referrals to specialists and educate patients on treatments, medications, and health issues.
Manage acute and chronic mental health conditions under physician supervision, including prescribing medications within legal limits.
Work collaboratively within a team, maintaining licensure, DEA registration, and required background clearances.
Must have at least 1 year outpatient psychiatric experience; ability to work in Clarion, PA, with relocation required before start.
