Job Description
Responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering Speech/Language Pathology treatments as prescribed by physicians, aiming to restore function and prevent disability.
Performs patient assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, and documents progress in medical records.
Provides patient and family education, addresses psychosocial and cultural needs, and collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Participates in performance improvement, safety, and educational activities within the department.
Ensures departmental operations align with budget considerations and maintains personal competency.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, licensure in Kentucky, and experience with geriatric patients preferred.
Requires strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and the physical capacity to perform the role. Full-time position with benefits, scheduled Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work, based in Ironton, OH. Relocation and in-person attendance are required.
