Job Description

Seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time position in a correctional facility’s medical department in McElhattan, PA.

  • Conduct clinical assessments, develop diagnoses, and create treatment plans, referring to psychiatry when needed.
  • Perform risk assessments, manage inmates at risk for suicide/self-harm, and follow established protocols.
  • Serve as a mental health liaison, facilitate inmate admissions to forensic hospitals, and monitor mental health services for quality and compliance.
  • Participate in quality assurance, develop in-service education, and prepare performance reports.

    Requirements: Must hold a valid LPC, LSW, or LCSW license in Pennsylvania, with a Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or related field, and at least two years of experience.
