Neurology Advanced Practice Nurse – I

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP) for our outpatient practice in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Provide comprehensive assessments, diagnose, and manage neurological conditions such as headaches, epilepsy, stroke, and Parkinson’s disease.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, and perform procedures within scope under physician supervision.

Educate patients and families, maintain accurate EHR documentation, and participate in team meetings and quality initiatives.

Manage follow-up care, coordinate referrals, and utilize telehealth as needed.

Qualifications: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, active California NP license, 2+ years clinical experience, certification (AANP or ANCC), and DEA registration. BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with no weekends or holidays.

Compensation: $90,000–$110,000 annually plus benefits, malpractice insurance, and potential relocation assistance.

Requirements: Ability to commute or relocate prior to start; in-person outpatient work only.
